Distinguished Service Cross (DSC)
British decoration established in 1901 as the Conspicuous Service Cross and renamed in 1914. It is awarded to naval officers up to the rank of lieutenant.
Distinguished Service Medal (DSM)
British decoration established in 1914 for naval men of non-officer rank.
Distinguished Service Order (DSO)
British decoration established in 1886 and bestowed on senior commissioned officers of the Army and Navy in recognition of distinguished services. It may be awarded to junior officers in especially deserving cases.
