HMCS Minotaur, Colony-class cruiser, Royal Canadian Navy.
The identical British cruisers Minotaur and Uganda began service with the Canadian navy in 1945. The Uganda was the only Canadian vessel to serve with the American navy in the Pacific. She was identical to the Minotaur, shown in the photograph, except for the American-style number 91 painted on her bow. The cruisers were later christened Ontario and Quebec, respectively.
